The Supinator Strap (TSS) is designed to assist in helping to rotate the forearm to produce a more functional position of the hand with the thumb and the forearm in neutral. The Supinator Strap works by crossing both the wrist and forearm joints, gently assisting with supination, wrist extension and radial deviation. Supination and the associated movements of the wrist are required in a wide variety of daily living activities such as feeding, grooming, dressing and writing. For individuals with neurological diagnoses supination can be lost or have failed to develop. The Supinator Strap works well when combined with and anchored to The Bamboo Brace.
